Charlotte Van Ryswyk writes cozy steampunk fantasies that inspire young readers to discover their own magic and true selves. Turicum Tales are inspired by the train station and clock shops in Zürich, Switzerland where she spent two sabbatical years. As an elementary school librarian, mother, and now Oma, she has loved sharing enchanting books with children for much of her life.
When not writing and reading, you can find Charlotte hiking, making zines for her grandchildren, singing loudly in the car, and playing viola in an orchestra.
She lives in Claremont, California with her husband in a 100-year-old bungalow.
